We will be taking three of our grandchildren to Disney World for the holidays, so I will be off the grid until January 15.
Note: To be honest, we are returning January 10th, but I am allowing five days for recovery (I hope that is enough).
Until then…
Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Have fun with your grandchildren. Happy new year!
Sounds like great fun. “See” you in 2 weeks!
Best wishes 2019
enjoy your holiday with your grandkids God bless you
What a grandpa. I am not showing this post to my granddaughter. Never mind. She’s only two and can’t read. Enjoy every moment of memory-making. And best wishes for 2019!
Merry Christmas, Greg.
Good luck, you poor dear. Disneyland is not for the faint of heart. Take a big credit card with you. Something that gives lots of points for the money you spend.
I predict that you will have a wonderful time with your grandkids at Disney, and that you will also need every one of those five days to recover!
Enjoy the trip and the children. Merry Christmas to you! π
A very happy Christmas, Greg. I can’t imagine 5 days will be anything like long enough to recover.
Have a wonderful time, Greg. I love Disney World. What fun to go with grandchildren. Merry Christmas π!
May you enjoy your time away, and come back refreshed, and invigorated by your grandchildren π
Have a great time – try to make it to Epcot while youβre there. I love that place. Enjoy the break and the holidays. See you sometime next year (Iβll be on break also). Happy New Year!
Have fun with the grandkids. Happy New Year!
Greg, happy blog break and happy Disney World! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! ππ Christine
I just got back from there a few weeks ago. We spent a week there with a couple of our grandchildren. Had a great time. Youβll need the five days, especially since youβre going during Christmas. πItβs beautiful but crowded.. get there earlyπ Havr a great time!!!
I am glad to hear you had a good time. I like to kid about being trapped with the grandkids, I love them but like all kids, they can be trying.
Wishing you the same. What a great reason to take a blogging break.
It’s good to take breaks. I see a number of bloggers are doing the same.
God Jul and enjoy your adventure–it’s a small world, after all!
[shudder]
It can be a good thing, with the right spin applied! π
That sounds like a great reason for a break. I’m looking forward to “My Nightcap” on the 15th.
I should start writing it now. π
Have a safe trip. And if it is at all possible start recovering while you are there… Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
My recovery starts when we drop the kids off. π
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, Greg! Thanks for the past year’s enjoyable postings!
And thank you for your writing!
Merry Christmas, Greg, to you and yours. May Santa bring you patience and a pair of kid’s eyes to use!
They say that a vice is a virtue taken too far. I wonder what vice would be the virtue of patience taken too far…. at least without going into a stupor. π
But I do like the idea of seeing through a child’s eyes. It might help me to better help them enjoy the experience. I will never forget when my daughter saw the ocean for the first time. We were walking on the beach in Panama City when a brace of leaping dolphin chased their breakfast across a sandbar. The look on her face was priceless.
Wishing you and yours all the best. Enjoy!!
And you and yours too!
Merry Christmas Greg! I hope our sunny warm state clears up for your expected arrival! If we were up north today we would be having a monumental blizzard. πβοΈπ¬
We are hoping to get out of here before a blizzard comes roaring out of Canada – but who knows?
Merry Christmas Greg, to you and all of yours! Be well.
And Merry Christmas to all of you and yours too.
I think you will need all of those five days, and don’t let Stan know you’re coming home early. π Merry Christmas, safe travels, bunches of fun, and a great 2019. π
I asked Stan to meet us there and help with the kids. That ought to keep him clear for a month. π
Recovery may take longer, Greg. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
I hear that Disney World goes best with Bourbon.
